Downconvert or resize?

hi, age-old question has been answered many times before. couldn't find answer wanted in search on forum.

 

my question this:  when wanting create dvd hd footage best to:

 

1. downconvert footage dv (either in post or in-camera)

2. create sequence match footage , burn via encore

3. create dv sequence , resize footage

 

i'm using adobe premiere pro cs5.5 in uk (pal)

 

i'd grateful views.

to export mpeg2-dvd file premiere import encore

instead of using dynamic link.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
