Fill command no longer works, has turned into Grow

i've been scouring sites solution , have not found 1 of yet. edit/fill command (shift + f5) has turned grow. i've seen other people problem , solution have seen use (shift + delete) instead. me isn't solution, disrupts workflow try using new key command should else. i've read people deleting preferences, restarting, etc, , i've tried of things. did have issues function keys because of had clicked in finder preferences fixed issue, , seems photoshop has lingering problems. , of course, psd keyboard shortcuts fine, nothing has changed there overriding keyboard shortcuts. in photoshop preferences i'm overlooking?

could have been usurped action?
