Illustrator not obeying positioning?

working shapes, using control bar tell shape should x , y coordinates.

 

i type them in 0,0 both, , illustrator decides prefers -0.5, 0.5!

 

i don't recall asking opinion...any clue why stipulated values being ignored?

 

cs6, latest update, os x, 10.8.3.

unticking align pixel grid in transform panel may solution.

 

you should untick new objects, in panel options.

 

it setting default rgb documents; setting can changed.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
