Posting Feature Requests for others to Copy/Paste
i posted feature request sent adobe member copy/paste own fr since liked suggestion (see fr below).
after doing so, got idea this: copy/paste frs send adobe threads on forum each other support idea similar requests, or copy/paste fr our own. limited resources , time, there's many requests adobe can implement in every new version. why it's important new features premiere pro team invests hard work , time on tools benefit greatest number of editors. more people ideas, more they'll implemented sooner later.
there's power in numbers, how using forum share our best ideas , make easier others add voice of support? it's great adobe provides way send them feedback, it's bad it's one-way conversation little, if any, dialogue , forth between submitter , adobe. that's why thought great bring more of potential dialogue here, can share ideas , support creation of ever better premiere pro!

brief title desired feature: drag&drop modified clips project window
how feature work?
ability drag&drop clips effects, motion settings, keyframes and/or markers project window timeline later use.
why feature important you?
the project window far better sequences storing/organizing modified clips future use, since is:
- searchable
- sortable
- viewable in icon , list views
- full of helpful metadata columns such 'video/audio usage'
- foolproof in original sequence can deleted without losing created subclips
given these advantages, why allow store modified clips in sequences? please fix allowing users drag&drop clips timeline project window while preserving of modifications (effects, keyframes, motion settings and/or markers).

as has been discussed in this thread (and duplicated threads not allowed in adobe forums), aforementioned feature request based on false statement editor can either store raw clips in project panel or modified clip in timeline. that's false because editor can nest modified clip right in timeline , nested sequence automatically stored in project panel, turning regular reusable asset.
unfortunately, op, outlined in duplicated thread, avoids mentioning ability, becomes second nature if use after effects (which unlike fcp part of adobe suite).
however, since op asks sharing ideas, not hesitate once again. here feature request intended improve usability of such prpro assets 'sequences' without breaking existing workflow:

it nice if managing capabilities such assets 'sequences' extended following features:
- similar live thumbnail view, introduced footages in cs6. small 'sequence' badge in top left corner of thumbnail allow differentiate between sequences , clips;
- enabled metadata , ability handle them other regular asset;
- ability remove empty audio or video tracks completely, i.e. sequence audio or video asset only;
- pop-up dialog box on hitting 'nest' command, allow give meaning name instead of default 'nested sequence xxx', contain 'delete empty tracks' checkbox , button advanced dialog logging metadata right on brand new asset creation.
these features improve ability exploit sequences reusable assets , preserve consistent applications behaviour throughout suite instead of breaking existing workflow inventing new fcp style 'subclip effects' type of asset. see discussion in prpro forum more details:
