Thread: Firefox blocking the sound from VLC player and vice versa

i can not sound vlc player if have started streaming in firefox first, or other way round no sound firefox if started vlc first.

have alsa , pulsaudio installed.

make sure have installed libasound2-plugins , vlc-plugin-pulse , select pulse audio output in vlc preferences.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
