so tried find java in package management system , found. know how it. im using xubuntu if changes

when java, mean runtime or development kit programming in java language?

if latter, can install jdk with:

code:
sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-jdk
in fact, think includes jre.. not best way install if you're after runtime.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
