Thread: Unity panel systray whitelist

i'm trying unity panel in ubuntu 11.10 show applets of of programs not sure how configure unity so. specific programs vmware workstation, cisco anyconnect vpn client, , sparkleshare. i'm able systray applets show changing systray-whitelist setting in gsettings 'all', doing makes empathy applet show too, made redundant default messaging applet. looks need individually whitelist programs use, how find out names use whitelist them? tried using names of binaries doesn't seem work. alternatively, there way blacklist empathy applet, rather whitelisting else?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
