running ubuntu 11.10 on dell inspiron 6400 cant wireless card work used nds wrapper , still no luck seem remember alwas running script in older ubuntu versions live cd alwas seemed work there such script run in terminal 11.10? there better version of ubuntu laptop detect wireless?

i had same trouble.
found when installed driver nic made difference.
installed ndiswrapper did.
try google or try website of manufacturer made internal card.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
