CP6: Error(s) Installing Text-to-Speech Voices on Disconnected Computer

all,

 

i trying install neospeech voices on machine. cp5.5, had open disc , install things add-ons folder. cp6, i've not been lucky. according file, i'm supposed see option install add-ons main installer screen. see no such option. should noted development machine cannot connected internet, not second. it's federal government-owned box, part of network used develop classified software. cp6 activated request/response code method.

 

with easy option bust (or it? did wrong?), downloaded installer adobe.com, burned it, , brought on development network. got error u44m2i218, sys admin thinks related lack of internet connectivity. so, option didn't work either.

 

in our research of issue, came across article on itninja.com: http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/adobe-captivate-6 should following steps in procedure? indeed issue adobe created solution?

 

would neospeech files came 5.5 work captivate 6? i'll assume won't, hope best. save me time. though use own voice final presentations, text-to-speech voices handy beta reviews.

you wiill have download voices captivate 6, , installer 32 bit , 64 bit captivate different.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
