Exporting

hi everyone,

 

i using premiere elements 10 , close finalizing editing of first movie in software. delving export function , feel overwhelmed choices.  project setting has been avchd- 720p  (my clips imported  variety of sources) , i've been reading it's best match export settings project settings. isolating 720p, there multiple formats including mp4 , m2t (in avchd dropdown) , there .wmv option @ 720p.  need file disk bit now, curious how difference makes format gets selected in terms of quality of video.

i think of little differently.  match project settings closly can primary source files. 

 

for output, try match viewing device.  dad had 1 choice 8mm film, projector.  i'm stuck seems endless requirements.  granddaughters have new ipod touchs, son glued computer work, wife wants put blu-ray player , daughter-in-law has dvd player.  of course, can't leave out youtube , vimeo.  1 of great features of pre how can make files optimized many viewing devices.

 

how plan view computer file should determine output.  software plan use primary video viewer?  software vlc seems handle anything.  others, ones come computer, more restrictive.
