port# - proxy settings

i have dreamweaver cs6 through adobe cloud. using in commercial application (business).

my host changed port# 21 12420.

i changed appropriate settings , not working. test ftp connection , dreamweaver says (successful). go upload data update , gives me error message of (file activity incomplete).

i online 1 of techs afternoon , hit wall, told me post situation on forum help. told dreamweaver supports ftp 21 port , proxy setting need proxy host name , settings work. ... & no host not give me information have tried , gone rounds. looked alternate port # see if find info somewhere else online , port # of 12420 came no info. need work, hitting wall, suggestions might have welcome. oh, told host have done other clients, using dreamweaver, , works, dreamweaver issue.

my host changed port# 21 12420.

 

use dedicated ftp client filezilla or cuteftp until can resolved.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
