i have downloaded light room , got interface available has disappeared.i have not yet used product using elements 11.all box indicating unexpected error opening catalog 3 options try again,choose different catalog , exit.

the 2nd option takes me large box asking select catalog or quit.

so far have got no further , wonder if should uninstall , reinstall programme.

totally lost honest.

can 1 me please.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
