RE Purchased of Adobe Elements & Premiere 10 disks in package

i can not run disks on computer load software.  unusual have not had problems before although daobe had been directly downloaded internet in past.  have set of 5 disks adobe elements , premiere 10 not load computer through dvd drive.  computer toshiba satellite operating normally.  have downloaded version 10 of adobe elements on computer , wanted add adobe premiere part of set of disks.

would appreciate info on how load program use.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
