repeated flash player ersion 11.7 update alert

several times day flash player update alert , system reinstalls version 11.7. must have happened 100 times far. each time files of 16546 kb size downloaded , installed if nou done hundred times before. seems have remoe product laptop.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
