Thread: Boot img not read

now have lot of background booting images , several distros, ever since tried downloading , burning new ubuntu 11, laptop doesn't read image @ all, wont boot. have tried booting ubcd , boots perfect booting professional xp cd, moment insert ubuntu image, doesn't pick image, use imgburn burn iso , writing @ 1x speed no files missed or damaged during burn process.

use lot of dvd, , suse dvd made read, possible image not made correctly, cause ubuntu problem having with.

sounds strange. first thing try download, best torrent because torrent program checks corruption during download.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
