Thread: Dovecot Thunderbird missing attachements

i running dovecot e-mail server collect e-mails. installed ubuntu howto. using thunderbird client (on windows).

working fine , dandy few people e-mail can't send attachments. can can't see them.

idea how may track down problem?

in advance k

neither dovecot nor thunderbird remove attachments.

in thunderbird, use command view > message source see entire plain-text message received. see attachments? if not, stripped else along way.

if senders problem come same organization, i'd hazard guess mail system somehow mis-configured.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
