Thread: Downloaded new version to flash drive but

hello, downloaded newest version of ubuntu flash drive, windows doesnt know program use open it.

machine tried boot flash doesnt recognize usb flash drive.

there no ubuntu icon on file 1 of unkown file type icons

machine tried install ubuntu 10.10 cd, cd must defective not being used , not stored properly, thats why tried make boot flash drive.

i think have downloaded ubuntu iso falsh drive , if not way install ubuntu flash drive .

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
