Thread: installing yacy has stopped update and upgrade abillity

can me out here?

started installing yacy adding souce repo list:

deb http://debian.yacy.net ./

, using apt-get:

apt-get update
apt-get install yacy

, since program doesnot function si worse cant update or partial upgrade. system suggests use:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

happens stuck message 'setting yacy' (translated danish) forever.

have tried using synaptics removing seems doesnot activate apply button.

i not use it, looks me tar.gz package better route go. no updates; removing yacy sources list should fix that.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
