Thread: Problem with 11.10: Monitors and WLAN

hello

since ubuntu 64-bit on packard bell tj65 notebook updatet version 11.10 couldn't use our wlan anymore. can't use additional monitors.
first wlan-problem: have devolo powerline-wlan. if ping wlan-router there response, main router isn't accessible. commando line doesn't like: host not accessible, still continues trying connect. computer logs wlan doesn't reach internet. problem?
problem monitors: on windows can connect 2 monitors laptop without problems (1x hdmi, 1x vga), on ubuntu monitors don't show in dialog "monitors".

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
