Thread: Remove gwibber or empathy? Will it kill ubuntu-desktop?

i've read if user removes gwibber in particular it'll remove ubuntu-desktop, have question:

ubuntu desktop gets removed? do, rid of unity or gnome classic, or both?

i'm wondering if did myself why i'm asking.

have ubuntu 11.04 unity if matters.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
