Thread: Windows only programs

i have few programs available windows only. there no linux alternatives. right have ubuntu installed in program files of windows , have choose either windows or ubuntu when turn on computer. thing it's hassle have reboot every time need use 1 of programs. end staying in windows, which, after having used ubuntu especially, real pain. besides that, can't use chrome or gimp in windows. message disk empty...weird.

anyway, my question: there way install/use windows in different work space or something, can in ubuntu, access windows programs, without rebooting, when need them? prefer ubuntu, need programs do.

did search this, came many threads, first of made no sense me (games forum).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
