Visual c++ assertion error with Adobe Digital Editions 2.00

my computer has windows 7. have laser eb850 e-reader , have susccessfully installed , used ade borrow books library , copy them on e-reader has worked successfully.  find when try connect e-reader via usb computer visual c++ assertion error , unable access e-reader through ade. why has of sudden happened , how can fix itclipboard01.jpg

i have same problem, can help????? use windows vista, after re installing vista problem occured...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
