Audio Sync Issues Rendering Non-Standard FPS Sources

i using premiere pro render clips taken samsung galaxy s3 shoots hi def 1080p (1920x1080).  problem is not precise respect fps.  shoots somewhere between 29.85 , 30 fps.  when play video on vlc or wmp, plays fine; however, when import video premiere, video of 6 minutes or has lag (or advance, case may be) of full second or more repect audio track end of video.  since neither track grows or shrinks , sync issue progressive video progresses, not simple matter of moving audio or down in timeline or changing speed of video. 

 

how 1 use video not standard frame rate?  surely common problem simple solution not aware of.  please help!

you don't.  shoot video video camera records of standardized formats pp capable of working with.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
