MSO causing page not to turn

i trying make full screen slideshows.  thought make 1024 x 768 blank frame state 1 of mso , state per picture.  made slide show allowed users swipe , go prior , next slide image.  had background of seim-transparent gray bring focus slide show.  looks , works great.  problem cannot horizontally swipe change page because opens mso...since seems never close once activated.  how can around allow slide shows , ability swipe change pages?

you have have region of page isn't occupied mso. offer space @ top or bottom swiping pages, , put indication in design it's correct place swipe change pages.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
