organization using PSE 7 - help!

i have 18,000 pictures scattered between c drive, d drive , external hard drive.  in numerous attempts them up, have accidentally made copies of many of them. 3 or 4 copies in cases.  can use elements 7 filter run these pictures through , have 1 copy on external hard drive?  how do it?  if can't, have suggestions?

there no direct way (search duplicates , keep 1 copy) there workaround. select images (if works fine you, later can select images) , click on 'find->by visual searches->duplicate photos'. after while, diloag show showing duplicate images in tracks. comes manuall work, select duplicate images various tracks (one one) , click on 'remove catalog' button located near bottom left of dialog.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
