search within editor

ok, i've tried searching everywhere, terms pretty generic, i'm coming expert source.

 

i code within editor of dw , search. big search dialog box feature rich. can search within source of current document, open documents, or within directory if choose. can replace upon finding, , when i'm feeling powerful, can use regex find i'm looking for.

 

all , dandy.

 

however, that's much. many options. power. big of dialog box. of files have 500+ lines of code , want simple/quick, not in face search. in layout there 2 small search boxes. 1 unfortunately opens default browser , searches term entered. (i wish search open , in focus document!) other searches files.

 

q: there way configure either of boxes quick , dirty search of open document?

 

i don't want make own widget (i haven't done since homesite when macromedia owned it). looks bit more complicated, , don't have time delve. or should i?

 

i'm using dw cs6 creative cloud on mac.
