Stage constantly moves left when reopening file.

i guess first , simple question is...why there no ability pan?!

 

everytime reopen file whole stage moves left side of screen, off center. it's driving me nuts @ point , it's weird give no way move stage center of program window. makes me bit neurotic not being able see whats going on left of stage, have text, images , other objects on there no way pan on see other zooming way out , hoping i'm able see it.

 

how center stage or simple pan can see work?

 

as note, have tried mousewheel , shift+mousewheel not work bring stage center of window, , little drag bar on bottom not showing up. center stage button down on lower left corner not work, clicking nothing.

 

#frustrated

 

it should simple holding middle-mouse button , dragging move stage around. please add ability.

my guess stage size larger actual stage container fits app window.

 

there center stage function/icon lower left of stage - looks 'scope' view icon.

 

if still find stage not fit app stage viewer, resort stage resizer lower left or ctl/command + plus key or ctrl/command + minus key.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
