ok have searched everywhere , can find windows, or isnt relevant

im not sure if hardware or os problem, when boot nothing black screen flashing white line on top right of screen (even if use live cd)

can bios , checked event log, there problem cmos battery replace that. still wont boot.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
