Thread: Can't figure out how to map network drive

i'm not sure how map network drive in ubuntu.

in past, click on places icon , of ntfs windows shares show up. however, not, yet can ping ip addresses of ntfs windows 7 drives.

in windows, type in \\server\share.

there simple way of doing in ubuntu?

simplest

open file manager

go

file, connect server

choose windows share, put in ip, connect

can bookmark

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
