Thread: Clonezilla issue

the hard disk in laptop ran issues , appears failing. disk utility in ubuntu found 1205 bad sectors. have order new hard drive , important data has been backed up.

decided give clonezilla go clone drive , install on new drive when arrives. ran issues when cloning windows partition partition had errors.

first error was

"this partition in image broken: sda2"
after had finished checking images said,

"broken partition images found, or of them not checkable in image....."
will able restored across new drive or have same errors?

if can't check image, chance there can use restore ?

minimal imho.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
