Thread: error after update

i updated 10.10 10.04 last week. after rebooting shows "error "prefix" not found" half second , it's stuck @ flashing line forever!! installed 10.04 again , didn't upgrade 10.10 directly because flashing line looks creepy , don't want see again. should now??

ps 1.i want upgrade 10.10
2.i using wubi
3.i hate flashing line

most complicated upgrade! why don't try uninstall wubi windows, clean (ubuntu folder remains on c:\) , install again ubuntu 10.10?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
