Thread: F2180 driver doesn't work

on connecting f2180, install f2100 series driver doesn;t seem work f2180 printer.
ideas how can work?

which version of ubuntu running, , version of hplip installed?

have f2180 working brilliantly on 10.04 updated version of hplip direct hp, needed add later printer model, though 2180 worked default hplip version in ubuntu 10.04 without problem.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
