Thread: Firefox with one gmail-window is taking 300Mb

firefox 1 gmail-window taking 300mb in ubuntu 11.10 x64 after fresh restart. expected?

mine uses 169 if go right gmail... have no extensions added 99% of time in chrome. extensions tack-on ram.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
