Thread: Getting old Gnome2 source

hi all,

apologise if topic has been addressed, i've had little luck finding anything, google.
still use 10.10 because dislike unity , gnome3. i'm wondering is, possible gnome2 source out of 10.10 , build on 11.10? or different os?
can't seem hands on gnome2 source anywhere. tried 'apt-get source gnome' in 10.10 downloaded 2 small packages. there quick way hands on whole lot in 1 go, or have go package package?

you might have @ jhbuild.
http://live.gnome.org/jhbuild
don't know if can build gnome 2 or not jhbuild supposed configurable.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
