Thread: HP dv6000 battery issues

i have hp dv6000 laptop, ubuntu 11.10 gnome-cassic environment.

bought new battery laptop replace 5-years old dead one.
10 days ago exact.

battery working (charging , powering computer when no power plugged in) until yesterday.
not charge, says has 12,9% charge , charging.
status goes "fully charged" "charging" has no energy @ , not charge.

can please me this?

i removed new battery , placed old one, ran "cat info" command , got exact same results new one:

you should replace battery.
