Thread: init erorr! laptop wont boot?


hi
turned computer on , comes ways boot , clicked ubuntu linux 2.6.38-13-generic. there recovery mode too. once clicked writing come up:

init: udevtrigger main process (93) terminated status 1
init: udevtrigger post stop process (97) terminated status 1
init: udevtrigger main process (92) killed term signal
mountall: disconnected plymouth
init: plymouth-splash main processs (98 ) terminated status 2
init: plymouth main process (50) killed segv signal

have no idea means , laptop don't boot. tried recovery mode comes similar things. don't know why has happened. can because tried upgrading ubuntu 11.0 , shutdown laptop before finished? grateful if help

yes thats it! bad thing lose power through means during core changes system.

if cannot via recovery mode have fresh install. "upgrades" (not updates) not go due many factors anyway. backed stuff before tried upgrade, if did not, startup computer via live cd , see if can access files. if can can them drive or partition , fresh install.
