i downloaded software touchpad indicator. tar.gz file named touchpad-indicator_0.7.2.orig.tar.gz
when used command

tar -zxvf filename.tar.gz


after going directory there many files .po , .py extensions

how can proceed further installation

there text file in there or more one
1 of them has install directions

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
