Thread: Network cards not detected

hi, been using linux awhile can't seem figure out wireless cards(i need 1 work don't care which). ifconfig , iwconfig won't acknowledge either of cards though both work fine on os. i'm borrowing usb wireless adapter works fine.

madwifi obsolete apparently , i've seen ath5k driver supposed integrated can't seem find solution. fresh install of 11.10 standard kernel upgrade.

kernel:3.0.0-14-generic
wireless cards: netgear wg311t zonet1642

got it, vista driver ar5004x (tried xp driver rt2860 before netgear) ndiswrrapper, installed worked on spot.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
