Thread: No keyboard

i had hoped revive several p3 motherboards lubuntu , turning them in mp3 players.

got startup , shutdown routine going don't think there's going anyway around not having keyboard connected , doing "cold" power off.

??

had intended on setting pc's keyboard , monitor -- disconnecting them , using power switch turn on , turn off.

lubuntu doesn't seemingly. should give or there workaround?

sounds need shutdown script run when last mp3 plays or @ set time ??

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
