Thread: Sound wrecked after messing with JACK

hi all, i've been messing audio in order set software vocoder. vocoder works now, else in jack-rack , qjackctl, after stopping jack no other sound works; youtube videos play silently, banshee little smarter , sits there saying "idle" when i've hit play button.

sound has been touchy while might due else jack: while messing buggy third-party ladspa equalizer (pulseaudio-equalizer) , time i've tried uninstall that, it's made sound stop working , i've had reinstall it.

appreciated can't watch little ponies until sound gets working

edit: issue turns out intermittent, restarting didn't fix yet waiting hour , trying again did. *shrug*

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
