i have ubuntu 11 on usb stick. can run usb if laptop windows xp if try run usb on laptop windows 7 installation doesn't work.

works windows xp toshiba , acer.
doesn't work windows 7 samsung , acer

thoughts - hoping useful tool if hard-drive failed

is usb visible selection in f11 boot menu in computers?
operating system xp or 7 should immaterial.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
