i download , install xfburn suggestions ubuntu softwar center doesn't work.

try install devede , hi ask me remove many files , codecs libav library before install it.

have tried burning dvd/cd brasero? thats default burning program in ubuntu. can install software center. not need worry removing packages software center because you. search program want install , remove/install packages you.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
