Adobe flash won't work with 64 bit windows 7 and internet explorer 10

i have windows 7 64 bit on pc , downloaded internet explorer 10 , adobe flash giving me kinds of trouble. downloaded hulu.com keeps saying can't work versions earlier 10.something downloaded 11.something. why?

you write "downloaded", did install it?

 

what version tell installed @ http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html#main_find_the_flash_ player_version_installed_on_your_machine ?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
