Batch export PNGs from PSDs into same root folder?

i trying export large amount of psd files png's (png-24 web , devices) , want run batch while still respecting file/folder organization in place. possible run batch action or script export png's original root folder rather choose destination each folder want export?

 

for example, have several psds in folders a, b & c.
so far, have been running action including export, choosing destination psd's, doing same b , c separately.

 

is possible run 1 batch on a, b & c @ same time , keep resulting png's in original psd's root folder respectively in cs5? pretty familiar working in actions in photoshop, don't know additional scripting in or out of program.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
