Encore de-syncing Subtitles by changing the time cues
i brought in video using premiere , dynamic link, subtitles through encore. video , audio synced correctly.
now there's spot around 02:03:20:00 last subtitle shows up.
the specific text original video, ripped mkv, along audio , video confirmation converted mp4, , inside both encore , premiere, agree should 02:03:18:08 02:03:22:08.
however, in encore, changed 02;03;25;20 - 02;03;29;20 (i did select 'absolute' though)
upon exporting check, encore shot out version confirming subs progressively lagging.
also, why did encore change notation semicolons?
thanks!
you don't say, pal vs ntsc issue.
from joe bowden in 2008: "ntsc subtitles must use semi-colon ( ;) delimiter because it's drop-frame. pal timecode not drop-frame uses colon ( :) delimiter."
found quote before recent thread on this; couldn't resist quoted here.
so text file may set wrong; or have not adjusted account framerate; or both.
