Epub format question

i have paragraph doesn't come quite right when exported epub. see images.testing epub id.jpgtesting epub.jpg

the first image id format. second 1 how comes in epub. need modify in css make similar. input. i'm on windows cs6. using epub 2.0.1 , ade reader.

it depends on viewer software. in, say, ibooks on ipad?

 

(and yes: in other viewers may better, same, or *worse*.)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
