trying load adobe player 11 keeps saying close program incmail or cant continue. closed , dont have, nor use incmail. ideas

please specific software referring to?

are trying install adobe flash player ?

also let me know os , browser using?

 

check task manager if on windows find 'incmail' , end process. if on mac, check activiy monitor related process , close , try install flash player , check.

 

you can download flash player : http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

in case face issues can try downloading offline installer available @ :  http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-pla yer-windows.html#main-pars_header

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
