Thread: Can't print to 10.04 print server from XP SP2

i set print server running ubuntu 10.04 , 1 xp sp2 machine in house can't connect/print. working no problem until few days ago when power outage screwed printing system. reconfigured , xp machine won't connect. don't know other details include because i'm stumped. welcome.

generally permissions issue on server side. check make sure windows machine granted access , make sure printer shared

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
