hey forums,

i've seen kinds of cool screen shots , videos on youtube of people these cool weather widgets , stuff on desktops. want know if it's possible install these things on 10.04 gnome, ones suggest or find useful , them.

there security risks when installing these things?

why not install conky, light , risk free, google conky weather

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
