Thread: i can`t resize partition with gparted

hi everyone. i`ve install ubuntu aspire 1 d257 , have problems. first wireless driver doesn`t work. have wired network , wireless network. i`ve try windows driver happend. bigger problem can`t resize hdd. gparted show me boot partition , can`t resize. want 2 partition , , second want ntfs . how can this?


p.s. gparted stop working ;( . when start , type password , , happend ? what`s problem ?

which version of windows? if win 7, have use windows disk management tool shrink win 7 partition, before use gparted.

gparted must run in "gksu" mode -- super user mode.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
